Stanford Campus

Stanford, CA

hey guys,

i must procrastinate even here at Stanford .... :-)

first, a brief update on my life: Saturday: Biking. Man!!!!! I went up these mountains with a couple of my Swedish and Japanese friends ... I've never been in so much pain for so long in my life! The elevation at the top was 2000ft and you could see the Pacific on one side and the Bay Area including Stanford on the other. The downhill portion was really good!!!!!

Sunday: I did a problem set.

.... oh yeah, I went to this Indian students group Sanskriti ... it was good (hey, they had samosas :-) ). As my friend put it, there was a few Indian honeys there ... not that I was looking, of course.

It never fails ... to be a beautiful sunny day here. I woke up and it was cloudy. And until five minutes ago, it was still cloudy... now I look outside, it's soooooo nice and sunny. Sorry, Urvashi... NewYork? Perfect weather? WhatEVER! This is definitely the place to be ... don't be sad, you're all invited down here :-) ... well, you can stay with Helena at any rate ;-)

Finally, I'd like to write a few words about this accusation about there being "good-looking girls" here at Stanford. That's preposterous, I've never heard of such a thing. I mean, all the girls here wear these tiny shorts and skirts... hardly what I'd consider attractive ;-) Sure I guess if you're INTO that sort of thing, the campus might be crawling with beautiful women .... ;-)

I guess I can say I miss everyone. Ahhhh..... it was so nice, all your friends around. Going to the C&D to grab a coffee and bagel to sit through Wong's classes ... watching X-files. Those were the days ... Volleyball, ping-pong, all-nite-a-thon, talking, laughing, sharing....

I will leave you all with this one quote from Kahlil Gibran:

"Love knows its own depth
Only in the moment of parting."

laters.
